Group Project
Overview
The goal of this project is to empower individuals to prioritize their mental health and encourage them to engage in self-care practices in a positive and interactive way. This Mental health kit includes a calendar to help individuals track and manage their mental health activities, a booklet with information and tips on self-care and coping strategies, a journal for individuals to reflect and express their thoughts and emotions, and stickers to add a fun and creative touch to the journal with motivational quotes.
My Role
Initial research, mood board, illustrations, content for the booklet, the layout of the brochure, layout of Journal, making a final booklet, making final mock-up for the booklet, making stickers and badges.
Problem Identified
There is a lack of accessible and engaging resources for individuals to manage their mental health. Many individuals may struggle with maintaining good mental health due to stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions, but they may not have the proper tools or resources to help them cope.
Initial Research

4 out of 6 people suffer from depression, stress, and anxiety.

In India, about 7.5 percent of people suffer from some mental disorder. approximately, 56 million Indians suffer from depression and another 38 million Indians suffer from anxiety disorders, states WHO.

In India, per 100,000 population there are 0.3 psychiatrists, 0.12 nurses, 0.07 psychologists, and 0.07 social workers, while the desirable number is anything above 3 psychiatrists and psychologists per 100,000 population.

India also accounts for 36.6 percent of suicides globally.
Target Audience
Among various age groups, adolescents and young adults (13-30 years) probably suffer the most. Common mental disorders peak during adolescence and the early stage of middle age.

Thought Record Worksheet (7 pages)- It asks the user to log their emotions and thoughts as well as what was going on to make them feel that way, then has the user reflect on whether or not there is evidence to back up their automatic thoughts.
